Originally,
PORTA has been written by Thomas Christof and not by myself, and I
still
do not know all implementation details. Thomas has left the academic
world a long time ago.
In general, I do not have enough free time to give support for PORTA.
If you encounter difficulties with PORTA, you can send me your input
file together with a short problem description (don't forget to specify
the used operating system). However, I can neither promise that I can
treat your special problem in the near future nor at any time. Thus, please do not expect to receive any
response to your bug report or support request.

We
decided to distribute PORTA under the Gnu GPL hoping that the
community may provide improvements for this software. Therefore, you
are invited to debug and improve PORTA. I would
appreciate every improvement from you to provide a more stable version
to all in the future. |
