This agreement is entered into by and between you and the Konrad-Zuse-Zentrum für Informationstechnik Berlin (ZIB) regarding your use of any services provided by ZIB within the activity that results from usage of the cluster. By using the services, you are entering into this agreement with ZIB and indicating that you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

- No Warranty

ZIB will do its best concerning data safety and security (e.g. physical safety of compute and storage media, adequate access restriction, etc.). Nevertheless, ZIB cannot and will not guarantee any failure-free services. Services are provided “as is” with no warranty of any kind and you use them at your own risk. ZIB expressly disclaims any warranty regarding the services. Under no circumstances will ZIB be liable to you for any direct or indirect damage (e.g. data loss or temporary unavailability of service, etc.) arising from using the services whether or not you have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
