BAM-Thermography
Simulation and Identification in Thermography
Description
Thermography is used for nondestructive testing of different materials in order to detect imperfections of the material. We develop analytically supported adaptive numerical simulation methods for the reliable simulation of impulse thermography of concrete and identification of asphalt porosity from passive thermography, as well as reconstruction algorithms that provide quantitative data about defect location and shape.
Further information is available in the detailed project description.
