HyperPlan is a software package for simulating and planning regional hyperthermia therapy, the steps involved in the process are suported by state-of-the art numerics as well as 3D visualization and interaction methods, notably the generation of tetrahedral patient models, solving Maxwell's equation and the problem of heat transport. The software has been developed at the department for Scientific Visualization of the Konrad-Zuse-Zentrum für Informationstechnik Berlin (ZIB) in cooperation with the Rudolf-Virchow Klinikum Berlin.

Distribution:

HyperPlan is commercially distributed in conjunction with hyperthermia devices by Dr. Sennewald Medizintechnik GmbH, Munich, and by BSD Medical Corporation, Salt Lake City.
