Supercomputer Systems
The Supercomputer Systems team operates the supercomputers installed at ZIB.
The main system is the component Complex Berlin of the distributed supercomputer system HLRN-II which is being operated in the framework of the North German Supercomputing Alliance HLRN. The second system is a Linux cluster which is mainly being used by D-Grid, the National Grid Initiative of Germany. The central activities of the team are monitoring and controlling of machine operation, user administration and data backup.
