Confirmation

This is to confirm that the Konrad-Zuse-Zentrum für Informationstechnik Berlin (ZIB) was established under a law passed by the Berlin chamber of deputies on July 17, 1984 in succession to the Zentrum für Informationstechnik (GVBl. p. 984). ZIB is an institution incorporated under public law seated in Berlin.

ZIB's mission is, among other things, to carry out research and development in the field of information technology. ZIB's President, Vice President and the Head of the Computer Science Division hold professorial chairs and lectureships at the Freie Universität, Technische Universität and Humboldt-Universität in Berlin, which are partly conducted at ZIB.

The ordered Software is used for educational purposes.
