Open Resonators

DFG-Project: Resonances in open systems

We develope and analyse algorithms for the simulation of resonances in open systems arising in accoustics.

teaser

Short Description

We want to simulate the resonances of open excitable technical systems using the newly developed pole-condtion method. The main application are resonances of wing-flap configurations, one of the main sources of aerodynamic noise during landing.
