Guidelines for authors of ZIB-Reports
If you want to deposit a Report for publication please click Publications Repository OPUS4 and here use the button “Publish”
There are 2 possibilities depositing a report:
1. The report is ready for publication: in this case you ask for a number by sending an e-mail to bibliothek@zib.de . You prepare the ZIB-title page plus imprint of the report inserting this number so you are able to upload the pdf-file of your report in the process of registration. The library will activate the document.

2. You haven’t finished yet the report, but you want to register it, then you just skip the screen where you can upload the file. The library will activate the announcement of the report and send you the number. When the report is completed you include the ZIB-title page plus imprint and send the pdf-file (and optional the ps-file) to bibliothek@zib.de
Please make sure that the head of your department accepted the article for publication.
It is requested to format the title page in ZIB-Style. Guidelines and examples for the title page are to be found here (for access you need to login or send an email to the library).
Fellows and guests should indicate their current affiliation on the title page. Funds or grants are to be noted too.
In case the report appeared in a journal, conference proceeding etc. please send the bibliographic description to bibliothek@zib.de The citation will then appear together with the appropriate ZIB-Report and also in your own publication list. Most publishers allow that the author's own version is archived on her/his own website or on an institutional repository. More detailed information is to be found here: SherpaRomeo.
