The aim of the division 'medical planning systems' is to identify possibilities and to realize solutions for computer assisted treatment planning in view of an improved therapeutic result. New methods of scientific visualization and data analysis, numerical analysis and modeling as well as of computational geometry are combined to provide sophisticated, innovative approaches for clinically relevant problems of medical therapy planning.
