The aim of the research group 'Medical Planning' is to identify possibilities and to implement solutions for computer assisted and model-guided treatment planning in view of an improved therapeutic result. New methods of scientific visualization and data analysis, numerical analysis and modeling as well as of computational geometry are combined to provide innovative approaches for clinically relevant problems of medical therapy planning.
