Description

The resection of tumors from the liver is a difficult and risky surgical intervention, even for experienced surgeons. The goal of computer assisted peroperative planning is the exact localization of the tumor in relation to the surrounding vascular network. Moreover the results of the planning procedure shall be made accessible to the surgeon intraoperatively. Further information is available in the detailed project description.
