Flow Analysis
Feature-Based Analysis and Comparison of Coherent Structures in Parameter-Dependent Flows
Description
This project investigates the possibilities to actively control the pressure induced flow separation at a high-lift configuration. Methods of both numerical simulation and flow feature analysis are used to achieve the goal of higher lift. New feature based methods for comparing flow fields shall be developed to enhance the actuation more tightly focused. Those techniques will be integrated into a virtual lab. Further information is available in the detailed project description.
