Fitting of mechanical parts to CT data to analyse shape deviations
Description
The goal of this project involving Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM) and the Zuse Institute Berlin (ZIB) is the development of tools for the non-destructive analysis of mechanical parts using available computed tomography (CT) scans. The developed methods and tools should be used to quantify, how much a manufactured mechanical part deviates from the blue-print given by a CAD model. Further information is available in the detailed project description.
