Oracle COE

Oracle Center of Excellence "Data- and Storage Management" at ZIB

Themes of this COE are especially data management (reliable, distributed file systems) and storage managment (high performance online storage, SAN technology and archive storage).

With that project Oracle and ZIB are working in a partnership. The purpose is to work on solutions for urgent problems within the scope of provision and backup of great amounts of data. Foregrounded are the optimization of bandwidth for midrange storage systems and long-term archiving.
