Komplexe Materialien entstehen durch die Wechselwirkung verschiedener Phasen und Arten von Stoffen. Die dynamische Prozesse spielen sich dabei auf diversen zeitlichen und räumlichen Skalen gleichzeitig ab. Eine numerische Simulation komplexer Materialen erfordert daher neue algorithmische Ansätze, um diese Variabilität abzubilden.

Hierzu entwickeln und implementieren wir parallele und skalierbare Methoden für künftige innovative HPC Architekturen. Das Anwendungsspektrum umfasst physikalische, chemische und biologische Systeme.
