Modern therapies are becoming increasingly complex and tailored to the individual patient.

They are based on quantitative understanding of physiological processes and rapidly growing diagnostic imaging and -omics data. Accordingly, we aim at management of mass data and algorithms for their analysis on HPC systems. We develop innovative diagnostic tools, and models and algorithms for patient-specific treatment simulation and optimization that exploit all available data to improve individualized therapies. Furthermore, we aim at providing these algorithms in form of clinically deployable decision support and workflow optimization systems.
