Interdisciplinary installation by artist Moritz Wehrmann together with Lisa Schreiber, Sven-Kristofer Pilz and me. This work has been developed as part of the project “epistemic reverse side of instrumental images” at the Cluster of Excellence Bild Wissen Gestaltung of the Humboldt University of Berlin.
The installation can be seen in the exhibition +ultra at Martin Gropius Bau Berlin until 8th of January 2017.
As part of our ECCV paper, we have established dense corresponding meshes for the 2500 face scans contained in the BU3DFE data set. We have computed two separate statistical shape and appearance models (SSAM) for morphological variations due to identity and expressions. We are planning to release the Morphable Model fur research purposes in the near future.
