I am a Postdoctoral researcher at the Zuse Institute Berlin and a head of a research project "Modeling and Simulation of Innovation Spreading in Ancient Societies". Since 2012, I am a member of the Postdoctoral Faculty of the Berlin Mathematical School (BMS).
RESEARCH INTERESTS:
- Complex networks: fuzzy network clustering, module and hub identification, directed networks, cycle decomposition
- Dynamics on/off networks: spreading processes, temporal networks, random-walk-based approaches
- Metastable Markov processes: Markov State Models, transition path theory, non-reversible Markov processes
- Modeling and simulation of spreading processes in ancient times
