The European Conference on Optics for Solar Energy has been successfully held at Photonic Days Berlin Brandenburg.
The 2025 European Conference on Optics for Solar Energy reviews current trends and recent developments in optics and photonics for solar energy conversion. This conference builds on the success of the Berlin-based Workshops on Optics for Solar Energy, organized since 2015. The conference is co-organized by members of the Computational Nano Optics group at Zuse Institute Berlin, in the framework of the Joint Lab BerOSE. The Joint Lab BerOSE is a laboratory shared by Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin für Materialien und Energie GmbH, Freie Universität Berlin and Zuse Institute Berlin. BerOSE stands for "Berlin Joint Lab for Optical Simulations for Energy Research".
