Within its Thematic Einstein Semester on Mathematical Optimization for Machine Learning, the Berlin Mathematics Research Cluster MATH+ organizes the "TES Conference on Mathematical Optimization for Machine Learning" at Zuse Institute Berlin (Sep 13-15), preceded by a summer school (Sep 11-13).
The conference covers all topics on the intersection of machine learning and mathematical optimization, including discrete optimization, nonlinear programming, optimal control, first order methods, multilevel optimization, machine learning in optimization, machine learning for physical systems, as well as fairness and ethics in machine learning.
Invited speakers: Nicolas Gauger, Rolf Krause, Ruth Misener
