ZIB as a non-university research institute of the federal state of Berlin provides financial means for enhancing the promotion of young scientists at ZIB in close cooperation with universities in Berlin from acquired third-party funding intended for PhD scholarships Scholarships are available (1) in the framework of the Konrad Zuse Scholarship, (2) in the context of the Siemens-ZIB scholarship, or via admission a Graduate School or a Research Training Group in Berlin (see "Graduate Students").
