On 13.3.2023, ZIB signed the Berlin Declaration on Open Access to Knowledge in the Sciences and Humanities. Its goal of a global and accessible representation of knowledge is becoming increasingly important.
As mathematicians, we have always been among the pioneers of the Open Access movement. In mathematics, it has become standard scientific practice to make our research results available internationally and openly for discussion as preprints. For this purpose we use the preprint server arXiv https://arxiv.org/archive/math but also our institutional document server OPUS 4 (OPUS 4 | Einstieg (kobv.de)
